Lyall Johnson

Senior Account Director

Lyall is a communications, engagement, media and issues management expert, who has worked across government departments, federal and state ministerial offices, consultancies and for ASX200 companies on an array of major and contentious projects.

He has advised the Prime Minister of Australia, the Victorian Premier, senior federal and state ministers, CEOs and secretaries, as well as working closely with third-party stakeholders and community groups and forums.

Lyall has worked across many sectors, including energy, the environment, health, transport, education and planning, and has completed International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) accreditation in stakeholder and community consultation.

He started his career as a journalist and, in his 20+ year career as a reporter and editor, worked for some of Australia’s leading media outlets, including The Age/Sydney Morning Herald, ABC radio and the Herald Sun.
